The Zambia devolution support program is a government led intiative , supported by the world bank that aims to strengthen local authorities in Zambia to improve service delivery and advance the country decentralization agenda. 

The programme was Launched in 2023 and running until 2028, the program provides funding through capital grants improves public financial management and enhance the institutional performance and accountability of local governments. 

It achieves this through a combination of grants and technical assistance, focusing on areas like infrastructure development, capacity building, and the effective transfer of functions such as public health and social services.-
